SPCA for Monterey County offering special adoption discounts

The SPCA for Monterey County is offering mid-week adoption specials on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug 20-21.

Adoption fees for kittens, puppies, dogs, and small pets will be $19.05, and adult cats will be free to adopt. The SPCA for Monterey County was first founded in Pacific Grove in 1905.

After Thursday, dogs and puppies return to their regular adoption prices, kittens can be adopted for $50, and adopters can pick their price for adult cats.

SPCA adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter surgery, permanent microchip identification, vaccinations, SPCA ID tag, a health evaluation, and lots more.

The SPCA is located at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway, across from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekends.
