Free training to identify and report child abuse

The Santa Cruz County Children’s Network and Child Abuse Prevention Committee (CAPC) are providing free training to mandated reporters.

The trainer offers training to reporters working in schools, community centers and social service agencies.

The training helps reporters understand what they’re required to do, how to make a report, and what’s expected from them after a report is made.

Trainings are offered 8 times a year. Translators and translation equipment are available with requests made in advance.

The next training takes place in Capitola on August 12, 2014.
