Healthcare workshops offered at Santa Cruz Public Libraries

United Way outreach educator Rosalina Solinas will be at Santa Cruz Public Libraries branches throughout the county in July and August to answer questions about the Affordable Care Act. They’ll provide one-on-one support in navigating California’s healthcare marketplace/exchange,Covered CA, in English and Spanish.

Assistance is free and no appointment is required.

The following times and locations are scheduled:

Thursday, July 24: Live Oak branch, 2380 Portola Drive, Santa Cruz, 1 – 4 p.m.

Monday, July 28: Downtown branch, 224 Church St., Santa Cruz, 1- 4 p.m.

Tuesday, July 29: Scotts Valley branch, 251 Kings Village Road, Scotts Valley, 12-2 p.m.

Thursday, July 31: Aptos branch, 7695 Soquel Drive, Aptos, 1- 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 5: Felton branch, 6299 Gushee, Felton, 1 – 3 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 7: Capitola branch, 2005 Wharf Road, Capitola, 1-4 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 14: La Selva Beach branch, 316 Estrella Ave., La Selva Beach, 1-4 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 15, Branciforte branch, 230 Gault St., Santa Cruz, 1- 4 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 18, Garfield Park, 705 Woodrow Ave., Santa Cruz, 1- 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 19, Boulder Creek branch, 13390 West Park Ave., Boulder Creek, 12- 2 p.m.
