Man killed by train in Salinas identified
A man killed earlier this month after being struck by a train in Salinas has been identified as 31-year-old Dennis Dewayne Reneau.
Reneau was struck by a train near 11 Station Place around 7 p.m. on July 13. He later died from his injuries at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.
The Monterey County Coroner’s Office released Reneau’s name Monday and said they determined he died from multiple blunt force injuries.
No further information was immediately available.
