PG&E testing gas pipeline in Monterey

Parts of Highway 1 will have partial lane closures this week, as PG&E tests a gas pipeline for safety.

The hydro-testing will be done from Fremont/Camino El Estero to the Ocean Avenue/Highway 1 intersection.

Work begins Sunday, July 20 at 8:00 pm.

Partial lane closures on Highway 1 will take place between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am Sunday through Friday. There may be slow movement at the Ocean Avenue and Highway 1 intersection.

Delays should not exceed 10 minutes.
