Missing man reported in Capitola
Capitola police sent out a Nixle alert late Friday afternoon alerting residents to a 43-year-old man reported missing.
Rodney Scott Cloward was last seen on Friday at 8 a.m. at 4795 Opal Cliff Drive in Capitola. He was spotted a couple of hours later in downtown Santa Cruz by someone unaware he’d gone missing, police said.
He’s described as a white man with brown hair and blue eyes, about 150 pounds and 5’9″. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, a black jacket with a white logo and brown hiking boots, possibly carrying a blue backpack.
He has no history of being combative with police.
