Front Street reopened at Highway 101 overpass in Soledad after crash
Front Street at Highway 101 in Soledad was reopened Tuesday morning after it was closed following a single vehicle accident Monday evening.
The accident happened just before 6 p.m. Monday, when CHP officers said a car hit a power pole near the Highway 101 overpass and the Front Street exit. The accident knocked out power to many in the area and caused traffic backups.
There were no injuries, but the Front Street off-ramp was shutdown southbound as PG&E crews worked to shut off power and replace the pole. It was not reopened until late Tuesday morning.
