DNA evidence links man to Santa Cruz County burglary from September

DNA evidence has linked a Contra Costa County man to a burglary that occurred in the Santa Cruz County area in September.

An estimated $4,000 worth of electronics was stolen from a residence on the 21000 block of Stagecoach Road on Sept. 27.

Deputies recovered DNA evidence that they say linked Jeremy Williams ,20, to the burglary.

Williams was arrested Thursday in Contra Costa County on suspicion of felony burglary and booked into the jail there.
