Small sinkhole closes down neighborhood street
Bay View Avenue in Carmel was temporarily shut down Wednesday afternoon from a sinkhole in the road.
It wasn’t too big, only about two feet wide.
County crews were on scene to patch the hole up. Traffic was not affected.
Officials weren’t sure what caused it, but say it could be a water leak, or even rodents burrowing underneath.
