CHP officer injured in hit and run in Salinas
A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was injured in a hit and run accident Thursday in Salinas.
CHP said the officer suffered minor injuries when a black full-sized Dodge extended cab pickup truck hit him on South Sanborn Road near the intersection of Terven Avenue and Work Street around 6:30 p.m.
The suspect vehicle is said to have tinted windows, over-sized front tires, dirty alloy wheels and a partial license plate of “4B.” The truck should have damage to its right front fender and door with possible paint transfer. The truck was seen driving away from the scene.
