Volunteers needed for Monterey Stand Down event

Volunteers are needed for the 2014 Stand Down event in Seaside. Participants will help set up a tent city on the Former Fort Ord, where homeless veterans can get information about different services.

400 veterans are expected this year’s event, which runs from August 1-3. Volunteers are needed for July 30th and 31st.
