King City shooting victim drives himself to hospital
King City police said a man who had been shot drove himself to Mee Memorial Hospital Wednesday night.
Officers first responded to reports of shots heard before 8 p.m. and a vehicle seen leaving the area of South Third Street and Division Street.
The victim, identified Ernesto S. Rodriguez, 37, was stabilized and later transported to a Bay Area trauma center where he is currently in stable condition.
Police are looking into the motive for the shooting.
