Hollister police arrest 7 during probation, parole sweep

Hollister police say they arrested seven people on various charges during a series of probation and parole compliance checks on Monday.

The checks were conducted at 23 residences that police say are known gang residences in the city.

The following people were arrested:

Jessica Drewrey, 27, on suspicion of violating probation, possession of a controlled substance for sale and an unspecified felony warrant
Jason Castro, 32, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale
Joshua Cramer, 26, on suspicion of violating probation
Omar Quezada-Perez, 22, on suspicion of parole violations
Ray Baca, 44, on suspicion of violating probation and a number of weapons charges
Omar Ortega-Hernadez, 21, on suspicion of violating probation
A 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Police are not releasing the juvenile’s name.
