Hollister police seeking help identifying Safeway burglar
Hollister police are hoping residents will be able to help them identify the person who stole liquor from the Safeway store on Tres Pinos Road last week.
An unknown male entered the store around 6:30 p.m. on May 23, and walked directly to the liquor aisle. Seconds later, he was observed carrying multiple bottles of liquor out the front door of the store without paying for them. Surveillance footage shows him also carrying what appears to be a knife.
A citizen notified management.
The man appears to be between 18 and 22 years old, and appears to be unshaven. He was wearing a red shirt with blue jeans.
