California man accused of naked home burglary
The attorney for a man accused of breaking into a Northern California home and climbing naked into a 13-year-old boy’s bed says her client was drunk and doesn’t remember the events.
Thirty-four-year-old Cesar Lopez-Villagres pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to charges of burglary, trespassing and annoying or molesting a child.
San Rafael police say the boy woke up on Friday night to find a naked man in his bed. Spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher tells the Marin Independent Journal the boy ran to his mother’s bed nearby, and the man stood naked over them before putting on his underwear and fleeing.
Police allegedly found Lopez-Villagres in his boxer shorts in a nearby parking lot.
Lopez-Villagres’ attorney, Eva Bennett, says her client has no prior criminal history.
