UPDATE: 12-year-old boy missing in Santa Cruz found safe
9:09 p.m. UPDATE: Santa Cruz police confirms Jesse Kirkman was located at a park in Live Oak safely. He is back at home with his parents.

Santa Cruz Police are alerting people about a missing 12-year-old last seen Thursday afternoon.
Police are looking for Jesse Kirkman who was last seen at his home at 730 Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz at about 4p.m. Santa Cruz County dispatch sent a phone call to all homes in and around the neighborhood to ask people to keep an eye out for Kirkman.
Several tips have been received. Santa Cruz County dispatch said some sightings are centered around the Capitola area.
He is described as white, 5 feet, 90 pounds, with blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and gray shorts.
Dispatch says there is no indication at this point that Kirkman is with anyone else.
The Santa Cruz Police Department said to call 911 if you see him or if you have any information about his whereabouts.
