Fatal crash reported near Casa de Fruta in Hollister-Gilroy area
Crews responded to a fatal accident on eastbound 152, just west of State Route 156 Tuesday evening.
Both directions of 152 temporarily were closed in Santa Clara County while crews responded.
The accident involved a red Toyota sedan and a tanker truck. The tanker was empty at the time. CHP reported that a call came in that the Toyota was driving erratically and collided with the tanker. The tanker reportedly jack-knifed.
No further information was immediately available Tuesday night. Central Coast News will have more details Wednesday.
