Suspected flasher at large in Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz police are seeking a man accused of exposing himself to two young girls earlier this month.
On April 8, around 7:20 p.m. two girls – ages 8 and 13 – were walking near the corner of Dufour Street and Graham Avenue when a man in a white car drove past. The driver circled back, pulled to the curb near the girls and rolled down his passenger window to get the girls’ attention, according to Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark.
The girls saw he was wearing a gray shirt and nothing else, and the suspect began masturbating inside his car, Clark said. The girls screamed and ran home.
He’s described as a white male, roughly 40 to 50 years old with short brown hair, bushy eyebrows and dark eyes. He also was described as having a “large belly, fat thighs and skinny ankles”
He was driving what appeared to be a Toyota Prius or similar and the license plate contained the letter H and possibly the number 7, Clark said.
