Two arrested after deputies interupt Prunedale burglary

Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two people after responding to a reported burglary in Prunedale Thursday afternoon.

Deputies responded to reports of a burglary in progress on Valley Road just after 5 p.m. As they arrived, deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspects’ vehicle leaving the area.

Deputies stopped the car and found property taken from the home inside.

Robert Bowden, 35, and Teresa Moag-Chiono, 45, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and booked into Monterey County Jail.
