Portion of Soquel road closed due to downed tree
California Highway Patrols have closed part of Old San Jose Road in Soquel after a tree fell down, breaking a power line and coming to rest on telephone wires.
Crews are working to remove the tree and road closure signs have been put up. CHP doesn’t anticipate the roadway being reopened until 6 or 7 p.m.
Throughout Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties, CHP officers are responding to numerous traffic incidents as wet weather continues in the area.
