Man barricades himself in Marina residence Monday

After responding to a domestic violence call, Marina police said a man decided to barricade himself within the residence to not allow officers in.

Police say it happened on the 3100 block of Lake Drive around 1 p.m. Monday. Two women were inside the residence with the suspect, according to police.

Eventually police said they entered by force to later arrest Pascual Navarro Jr. on charges of domestic violence, violating a restraining order, assault with a deadly weapon among other charges.
