Police: shots fired at home in Salinas, no one injured
The occupant of a gray-colored vehicle fired three rounds into a home on Dallas Avenue Monday, according to police.
Police say one round penetrated a window and lodged inside of the home. No one was injured in the shooting. The occupants of the home are not believed to be associated with gangs. Officers say two juvenile girls were found to be walking in the immediate area, and that they are known to be associated with gangs. Police say it is possible the girls were the intended targets of the shooting. Police checked the area for the vehicle, but say they were unable to find anything matching the description.
If you have any information about the shooting, you’re urged to call Salinas police.
