Attempted murder in Salinas Sunday morning
Salinas police are investigating a shooting on Monte Bella Boulevard and Palermo Drive Sunday morning.
Officers say the 18-year-old victim was walking near a park when he was approached by a man dressed in all black.
Police say the victim tried to run away, but was shot several times.
He was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to be OK. Police are still looking for the suspect involved. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
