Hollister Police Arrest Man on 2 Separate Burglary Charges

25-year-old Joshua Dickerson is in the San Benito County jail, accused in two separate burglary cases and of siphoning gas.

Hollister police officers responded to a residential burglary on the 1100 block of San Benito Street on the morning of Feb. 25.

A witness told responding officers they saw two people, clad in dark clothing, busting into the home while the owner was at work.

Officers contacted two people inside the residence while a third person fled the scene.

Joshua Dickerson was arrested right then for the crime and was identified as the suspect in the Feb. 23 burglary of Save Mart.

Dickerson was arrested on that case as well.

Police say Dickerson was participating in other crimes, too. He’s suspected of siphoning gas from vehicles and stealing a security camera from a business on Technology Way.

The theft of gas and security camera investigation is continuing.

Hollister police want anyone with any information to contact Officer Hernandez at 831-636-4330.
