Six Arrested After String of Robberies in South Monterey County
Six people were arrested in Salinas Thursday afternoon and Monterey County deputies said most of them had a connection to an armed robbery in Soledad and Gonzales.
Deputies say two of the suspects, Gonzalo Cerna and Dorian Aparacio, were adults and four were juveniles. All of them were arrested after witnesses caught a glance of their license plate at the crime scene, said deputies.

Officers initiated a county wide search to find their white van.
The van was eventually spotted and stopped on Airport Road and Skyway Boulevard. Deputies recovered two handguns that they said were used in robberies in south Monterey County.
Everyone in the van was arrested on charges ranging from drunk driving, weapons, and gang enhancements.
Soledad and Gonzales police are investigating several armed robberies that could be linked to these suspects.
