Teenager Hit by Car in Salinas

SALINAS, CA.- Salinas Police said Saturday evening a female in her late teens was hit by a car while she was crossing the street at North Main Street and Navajo Drive. The female was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and the driver stayed on scene. Several streets are closed off nearby. Viewers report backed up traffic in the area.

Police say she was using the crosswalk when she was hit.
