House Catches Fire in Marina; Family Saved by Fire Alarm

The Marina Fire Department was busy around 5:00 a.m. Sunday battling a house that caught on fire at 3094 Magyar Dr.

Fire crews say the family was able to escape without any injuries because of a working fire alarm.

Once fire crews were on scene, they were able to extinguish the fire, which was contained to one of the rooms.

There is still no word on the cause of the fire.
