Man Hit by Car While Walking in Crosswalk in Capitola

Emergency crews were on their way to another accident Monday evening when they came upon a man hit by a car on the 1200 block on 41st street.

Police say the middle-aged man was walking in the crosswalk when he was hit by a car. He was eventually airlifted out with moderate injuries. Right now police do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.
