17-Year-Old Shot at in Gang-Related Shooting, According to Police

Police say a 17-year-old boy was shot at on the 100 block of La Posada drive Saturday night around 9:20 p.m.

Although he wasn’t hit by any of the gunshots, a nearby apartment buidling was. The victim also told police that he recognized the suspects involved and they were members of a rival gang.

Four hours later 18-year-old Jesse Gomez was arrested in connection to the shooting. He has since been booked for attempted murder. This shooting is being investigated as gang related at this time.
