Biden, Harris react to projected election outcome

(KION) The announcement came Saturday morning that former Vice President Joe Biden is projected to be the next President of the United States with Kamala Harris as his running mate, and since then, both have shared their reactions to the announcement.

Biden thanked the American people for choosing him and said, "The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans-- whether you voted for me or not."

Harris shared a video of her call to Biden after the news was announced, saying "We did it, Joe. You're going to be the next President of the United States."

Harris added, "This election is about so much more than Joe Biden or me. It's about the soul of America and our willingness to fight for it. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Let's get started."
