Pet of the Week: Meet Homelander!
Homelander is our first kitten to make a return appearance as our Pet of the Week! You may recall
meeting a younger version of him in September. Homelander and his five siblings were all rescued as
young kittens from the Royal Oaks area last summer and was adopted in the fall. Unfortunately, a decline in his adopter’s health resulted in his return to ONPP. Now back living with his foster family, Homelander is again hoping to find his furrever family.

Homelander is a very friendly and well-socialized kitten who is always eager to meet new people and other kitties. This handsome orange tabby boy who is now eight months old has developed more confidence since separating from his five siblings. Homelander is extremely playful and wrestles and chases his fellow foster kittens of various ages all day long. He can be talkative as well and is a huge fan of receiving cuddles and pets from his foster parents and all who visit him, especially when he rolls over and is rewarded with a belly rub.
When it’s time to recharge, Homelander can often be found napping on his foster dad’s chest. Homelander is an active kitten who is looking for a home with medium to high activity levels and
strongly prefers at least one kitty companion. His mellow attitude towards other felines makes him especially well-suited to integration into a home with multiple cats.
They'll be hosting our monthly adoption event at the Salinas Farmers Market from 10 am until 2 pm this Saturday, February 1st. We’ll have both cats and dogs of all ages attending, and we
encourage you to stop by and meet our furry friends!
Or you can submit an adoption application at www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org.
