Pet of the Week: Meet Forna!
Our first winter kitten this year is Forna, who came to ONPP with his five siblings after a family in Greenfield gave them up. He is a handsome all brown tabby from head to toe, with a very
inquisitive personality. He is currently in an Our Neighborhood Pet Project (ONPP) foster home in Marina with three of his siblings. All are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so they are available for immediate adoption.
Forna is a 15-week-old tabby boy who is extremely friendly and curious. While not the largest of his litter, Forna is quite confident even in unfamiliar surroundings and will quickly begin
exploring. This boy has the high energy levels often seen in kittens at this age and spends hours chasing his siblings and wrestling with them as well. He loves batting around his toy mouse and pulling down any towels hung low enough for him to reach.
Forna also has a very affectionate side, and will regularly take a break from play to come ask for pets and cuddles. He frequently rewards anyone who pets him with loud purrs and ankle rubs. When he needs a little kitten nap, he usually lays right next to his foster parents while resting. Forna has been living with other kittens and has been receptive to meeting adult cats. His scuba diving foster parents name their foster kittens after fish they see underwater, and he is part of the Cowfish litter. His two sisters are Phana and Tori, plus he has a brother named Sini. Forna would love to find a medium-to-high activity level home with four-legged companions to play with. He has plenty of siblings so you’re always welcome to adopt a pair!
If you're interested in adopting Forna, you can submit an adoption application at https://www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org/
ONPP’s next adoption event is this Saturday, December 7th, at the Salinas Farmers’ Market from 9 am to 2 pm. The entire Cowfish litter, as well as other cats, kittens, and puppies will be at the event, and we
encourage you stop by and say hello!
