Pet of the Week: Meet Zoe!
Meet Zoe! This little 1 year and 8 month old came to AFRP with her littermates. While Zoe was the runt of the litter she makes up for it with a big personality! She can be a little timid upon first meeting people so she needs an adopter that will be patient, and go at her speed.
Once she is comfortable with you she is a cuddly, affectionate pup. We are seeking an adopter that has the time to spend with her through the day to continue her puppy training, and socialization. Due to her young age and size, Zoe will do best with gentle children 10 and up. She would love another friendly confident dog in the home to help show her the ropes. She is also comfortable with cats.
Zoe is currently in foster care. An in-person meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org to apply today!
Or you can visit one of Animal Friends Rescue Project's adoption events. On Saturday August 17th, there will be adoptable animals at Veteran's Park in Monterey from from 11AM to 2PM for Queer Pet Day and at the Monterey Fairgrounds for the Monterey Motorsports Festival from 2PM to 8PM. And on Sunday, August 18th, they are holding Dog August nights at Hitchcock Road Animal Services at 160 Hitchcock Rd. in Salinas from 2PM to 5PM.
