Pet of the Week: Meet Hughie!
Meet Hughie, a medium hair buff tabby, who is our Pet of the Week! He and his five siblings, including Frenchie and Noir who were on as Pet of the Week the last two weeks, were all rescued from the Royal Oaks area when their mom was trapped for a Trap, Neuter, and Replace (TNR) program.
Hughie’s soft, fluffy hair is only the beginning of his many attributes. Now that he’s twelve weeks old, this adorable boy is fully into the fun and games that all kittens enjoy, and his energy and curiosity mean he’s constantly on the move. He loves to chase after the bird on his wand toy, as well as balls with bells in them.
Hughie takes the title for the litter as having the biggest eyes in the litter. When he cuddles on your lap, he likes to look up and gaze adoringly into your eyes with his big eyes. Hughie is looking for an active home, especially with other companions, two- or four-legged companions. He gets along with other kittens and has had some dog exposure. Kittens at this age have a great deal of energy and will be happiest with companionship most of the day.
If you are interested in adopting Hughie, you can send an adoption application at www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org.
Our Neighborhood Pet Project's next adoption event is two weekends from now. We’ll be at the annual West End Celebration in Sand City both Saturday and Sunday, August 24th and 25th. Both kittens and puppies will be at the event, so come meet some furry friends!
