Pet of the Week: Meet Flor!
Meet Flor! Flor was found alone in a mobile home community in Soledad and has been in foster care with Our Neighborhood Pet Project since she was about eight weeks old. Flor will be spayed very soon and available for adoption after that.
Flor is 13 weeks old now and is steadily becoming more confident around her human caretakers. This dilute tortie girl is living with several other foster kittens and her buddy is another foster kitten, Zeus, who is about a week older than she is.
Flor spends most of her time napping and playing with Zeus. Flor is a mellow kitten who enjoys watching the activity outside her window and cuddling with other kittens. While her foster family continues to socialize her, right now, she would do best in a quieter home with a family who will give her the attention she needs to continue to become more confident. Flor would also appreciate a furrever home with companions, two- or four-legged!
If you are interested in Flor or another animal, you can send in an adoption application at www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org. Or you can visit their next adoption event this Saturday, May 25th, at the PetSmart in Salinas, from 10 am to 2 pm.
