Pet of the Week: Meet Glennie!
Meet Glennie! This little kitten was trapped with his sister Gigi in a mobile home community in Soledad when they were only four weeks old and are being cared for in Salinas by an Our Neighborhood Pet Project foster family. Glennie was recently neutered and is ready for adoption!
Now 10 weeks old, Glennie is a cute little gray tabby who loves playing with his sister. While he was initially very shy when he came into foster care, he turned around quickly and is now a super friendly
and smart kitten.
Glennie and his sister play together all the time and love cuddling together. If you’re looking for a pair of kittens, they would be ideal. The kittens are still very young, so any children should be over five years old. If only Glennie is adopted, we recommend a home where other companions, two- or four-legged, are present most of the day, as being alone is difficult for young kittens.
Our Neighborhood Pet Project's mission is to reduce the number of unwanted litters in South Monterey County by providing access to free or low-cost spay/neuter services for dogs and domestic and feral cats, as well as care for and find loving homes for rescue cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies.
Their next adoption event will be on Saturday, May 25th, at the PetSmart in Salinas, from 10 am to 2 pm. You can also submit an adoption application at https://www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org/
