Pet of the Week: Meet Zowie!
Zowie is an 8-month-old tuxedo kitten who came into Our Neighborhood Pet
Project’s care when he and his family were found under a building at Salinas
High School. Zowie’s mom and 3 siblings have already found their furrever homes,
which means this handsome black and white boy is the last remaining kitten of his
litter, currently staying at a foster home in Salinas.
Zowie was the last kitten to be rescued, as he was stubborn and required repeated
attempts over several days to rescued. He is a friendly kitten, with medium energy
levels, who enjoys playing with water and carrying his favorite toys in his mouth.
Zowie’s favorite activity is performing high leaps in the air as he chases his wand
toy, and dashing through his tunnel toy is a close second. This inquisitive and smart
boy is currently living with other foster kittens and cats and small dogs. He would appreciate an active home with plenty of toys to play with!
Zowie will be at Our Neighborhood Pet Project's next adoption event at the Pet Food Express in Carmel from 10 am to 2 pm.
