Watsonville police prepare for drive-thru Trunk-or-Treat event

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION) Police in Watsonville are holding a drive-thru Trunk or Treat event tomorrow, and today they worked on putting together goodie bags for kids.

Officers and staff put together 1,000 goodie bags that will be handed out at the event, which will be held at Ramsay Park from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. or as long as supplies last.

Families that go to the event are asked to enter the park through Main Street, stay in their cars and wear face coverings.

Police said Ace Hardware on Main Street helped by donating 1,000 paper bags and 10 large bags of candy, and Watsonville Community Hospital provided 1,000 mini hand sanitizers. Several other organizations will also be part of the event.
