Vegetation fires near King City extinguished

KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV) – King City firefighters were able to put out what ended up being a pair of vegetation fires near the city.

The fire started on July 13 along Lonoak and First Street near the city, according to the fire department.

King City Fire said that the fire burned up some pallets and cars, then spread to another nearby vegetation. 

The fire is out and no injuries have been reported at this time.

The King City Fire Department said it's unknown how the fire started.
