Two more people die of COVID-19 in Santa Cruz County

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) Health officials announced that two more people died of COVID-19 in Santa Cruz County Tuesday.

This brings the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in the county to 6.

Health officials said one of the people who died did not seek medical treatment and died at home. During the announcement at a news conference, Dr. Gail Newel reminded residents to contact their health care providers and report to any federally funded health systems if you do not have insurance.
