Salinas Collision Reporting Center closes due to financial struggles

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) The Collision Reporting Center on Lincoln Avenue is closing its doors, according to Salinas police.

They said the office is closing effective immediately due to financial struggles that police say were caused in part by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Salinas Police Department will keep providing collision reporting. They thanked the Accident Support Services International LTD for their services and said they hope to renew the partnership in the future.
