Monterey Public Library asks for submissions to document community experiences during pandemic

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) The Monterey Public Library is working to document the community's experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is asking for submissions from the public.

The project, called "In this Together: Community Voices," will document experiences through writing and art to become historical record.

The library is looking for poetry, fiction, non-fiction, memoir, reflections, photography or other artwork showing how we cope, survive and live amidst the changes caused by the pandemic.

To submit writing or artwork, fill out the form here. You will be asked to provide your name, contact information, city, a title and other information about the artwork.

Writing can be up to 1,500 characters and files must be in JPG, PNG or PDF format.
