Presidio of Monterey applies county COVID-19 orders to all under DoD authority

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) The Presidio of Monterey that it is applying Monterey County's COVID-19 orders to everyone subject to Department of Defense authority in the county.

Personnel are told to Shelter in Place at home and wear face coverings in public places.

The change is effective immediately and applies to all military personnel, family members, guests, DoD civilian employees, DoD contractors, lease tenants and all others on the Presidio.

The Presidio is including the Defense Language Institute, the Ord Military Community, La Mesa Vilage and U.S. Army Signal Activity-Camp Roberts in the order.
