Monterey County first responders address COVID-19 challenges, share advice

(KION) Everyone is facing a new set of challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, and first responders are on the front lines.

Wednesday night, Monterey County first responders addressed the challenges of delivering care and share preparedness advice.

During the meeting, a panel of first responders shared best practices, held a roundtable discussion and provided resources for personal and family safety.

Personnel from Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, the Salinas Fire Department, the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, the Seaside Fire Department and the Marina Fire Department made up the panel.
