Santa Cruz Wharf closed until further notice

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) The Santa Cruz Wharf announced that the County Health Department has ordered it to close to the public.

The wharf closed Wednesday night, and it does not have a date that it will reopen yet.

Other nearby closures include Beach Street and Cowell restrooms, the Main Beach and Cowell Beach.

The wharf said customers can still support businesses by shopping online.

On Tuesday, Santa Cruz County announced that it would be closing all parks and beaches for a week.
