17-year-old Greenfield High School student taken into custody for bomb threat
GREENFIELD, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The Greenfield Police Department announced Friday that a 17-year-old student from Greenfield High School allegedly made a bomb threat to his school.
They said that the adolescent was immediately taken into custody for making the threat.
The police said that they began an investigation through collaboration between the Greenfield and Soledad Police Departments, and then served the juvenile a residential search warrant in both Soledad and Greenfield.
According to police, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office Bomb Detection K9 unit assisted in the search, which came back with no evidence of bombs, dangerous materials, or weapons.
