Navarone Garibaldi, the younger half-brother of Lisa Marie Presley, has spoken out following her death last week.

The musician, who is the son of Priscilla Presley and her former partner Marco Garibaldi, shared Friday on Instagram that he hopes his older sister is “now at peace and happy with your Dad and your son by your side.”

Presley’s son Benjamin Keough’s died by suicide in 2020.

Garibaldi acknowledged that “the past couple years weren’t easy” for Presley and wrote that he wished “things had been different between us,” which may have alluded to past squabbles between the siblings.

“Regardless,” he concluded, “you are my sister and I’m sending love and prayers for your journey home. I still can’t believe this, I’m lost for words. Love you sis.”

Presley, 54, was the only child of Elvis Presley and a musician in her own right. She was rushed to the hospital on Thursday morning with an apparent cardiac arrest.

Her mother confirmed her death later that day.

She is survived by her mother and her three daughters Riley Keough, Finley Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood.
