Two 24-year-olds arrested for road-rage shooting on I-49

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (KCTV) — The suspects in a highway road rage incident are facing felony charges.
Around 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, Cass County deputies were notified about shots fired on southbound I-49 in Peculiar. They found the vehicle that had been shot at and discovered a bullet near the passenger headlight. No one in the car was hit by gunfire or injured.
Haley Baxter and Damion Holman, both 24 years old and from Kansas City, Missouri, were arrested and charged with the crime. Holman was driving a white Dodge Ram and Baxter, his passenger, fired a single shot at the Kia.
Baxter is facing one count of unlawful use of a weapon for shooting at a motor vehicle or person, a Class-B felony. Holman is charged with one count of unlawful possession of an illegal weapon, a Class-D felony.
“Due to the rapid response of patrol units and the detailed investigation by the Crime Scene Response Team and investigators,” Sheriff Jeff Weber said, “these two were arrested and charged.”
