Virtual, in-person activities at Washington USD canceled due to River Fire

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Washington Union School District said all of its in-person and virtual activities are canceled through the end of the week due to the River Fire.

The Monterey County Office of Emergency Services is using San Benancio and Toro Park, so campuses are closed.

The district said it will provide more information about next week's activities at another time because the situation is changing quickly.
