LONDON (AP) — London police say they shot dead a man reportedly armed with a crossbow who broke into a home and threatened the occupants. The Metropolitan Police say armed police shot him as he entered the property, and he died at the scene. It is rare for police in the U.K. to fatally shoot someone. There were only three killings by police in England and Wales in the year ending March 31, according to data from a watchdog.
